Asheville Adult ADHD Meetup Group – Monday, Dec 7

Announcing Asheville’s first ever Meetup Group for Asheville area
Adults with ADHD.

The first meeting is set for Monday, Dec 7. Due to the nature and
of this group and content of discussion this Meetup group is listed
as PRIVATE. For further details about this group, future meetings
and activities you are encouraged to register at: ADHD Meetup

It is an unfortunate tendency that adults with ADHD feel isolated
from others sharing the same characteristics, challenges and gifts.
The group format offers adults with ADHD the opportunity to share
stories, experiences, ask questions, learn more about ADHD in adults
and learn new tools for living more effectively with ADHD and with
greater life satisfaction. Significant others are also welcome to attend.

CoachRudy Rodriguez will present this free seminar, “Understanding Adult ADHD” at AB Tech / Enka Campus in the Haynes

Conference Center, room #128. The seminar is 7-8pm followed by open discussion and support meeting 8-9pm.

Rudy Rodriguez, Licensed Psychotherapist, ADD Coach and an ADHD Adult himself, has been working with  ADHD since 1981.

He is Founder of the ADHD Center for Success.

Driving directions from I-40 west bound or east bound: Take Exit 44. At the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp,

turn right (south on 19/23). Go to the fourth traffic light and turn left on Sand Hill Road. Go to the second entrance

on the left and turn into the campus. The Haynes Conference Center will be on your right and the Incubator will be on your left. You may park on the left or in the lot straight ahead of you.

Seminar Description

ADHD adults frequently find themselves stuck, unproductive and unable to get ahead in life.

This interactive and entertaining seminar will discuss behavioral challenges common to ADHD adults and review practical strategies to create ‘successes’ in your life to experience your life more fully. CoachRudy will offer you tools for success in key areas including: self management, routine and structure, procrastination, overwhelm, managing projects effectively and more.
