ADD/ADHD National Awareness Campaign
September 3rd, 2009 at 1:59 pm (Adult ADD/ADHD)
September has been designated as a National Awareness Campaign for AD/HD.
Many people continue to think of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADD/ADHD) as a condition that only affects children, and primarily impacts school and learning. In truth, it is now widely understood that ADD/ADHD can persist throughout a person’s lifetime, and can affect every aspect of one’s efforts to build and sustain relationships.
In recognition and in support of AD/HD Awareness, the ADHD Center for Success has planned it’s own campaign to contribute to the awareness of adults with AD/HD.
- Follow this blogsite to read a series of articles re adult AD/HD
- Attend a FREE public Seminar – “Understanding Adult ADHD”
- Join David Hurrand (WCQS) for a live radio interview regarding adults with ADHD
- … and stay tuned for more offerings during the month.
The ADHD Center for Success is committed to helping raise the public’s understanding of the impact that AD/HD can have on one’s personal life, intimate & social relationships, college, personal finances, workplace effectiveness and other aspects of adult life.
Please visit this site regurarly during September to learn more about AD/HD in adults.
