 Global ADHD Awareness Month  - Worldwide Oct 1-31

Wed, Oct 8 – Global ADHD Awareness Month – 5:30-6:30pm at Malaprop’s Bookstore. The month of October is designated as Global ADHD Awareness Month throughout the world. This program presented by CoachRudy was designed by the International ADHD Coaches Organization to help promote evidenced based ADHD Awareness throughout the world.

Thurs, Oct 16 – Awared Winning Documentary Movie – “ADD & Loving It?” – 7-8:30pm at Carolina Cinemas (upstairs lounge) No Fee. This is a special showing of the Award Winning Documentary Film “ADD & Loving It?” - This acclaimed film chronicles the life and diagnosis of Comedian Patrick McKenna as he learns the facts about ADD from experts including medical researchers, psychiatrists, psychologists, professors, and award-winning authors. Location: Carolina Cinemas, (upstairs lounge) 1640 Hendersonville Rd., Asheville, NC

**The next Tues group scheduled to start – Sept 30**

Many adults with ADHD feel isolated, judged and overwhelmed. Groups allow participants to feel connected with other ADHD adults who each have their own unique strengths and challenges.

The coaching group format is a very powerful tool for learning, group coaching, accountability and an opportunity to break-through those key ADHD challenges that hold you back from living the life you deserve.

  • The 8 wk group will meet weekly in Asheville – NEW TIME: 6-7:30pm

This NEW Coaching Group is intended to accommodate adults with ADHD who DO NOT live local to Asheville, NC. The group will starting soon… and meet via telephone and may utilize the Google hangouts technology so we can see each other or simply hear your voice.

Adult ADHD Beginners Group - (ADHD 101) **starting TBA**I frequently speak with adults who have been diagnosed with ADHD but then have no idea what to do next. Some begin ADHD medication trials or explore alternative treatments. However, the unfortunate truth is that nobody has fully explained what ADHD is, especially the adult presentation of ADHD.The ADHD Beginners Group is designed for those adults who have been diagnosed with ADHD and want to learn more about adult ADHD and what to do about it.
