Don Sheehan, ADHD Coach

My approach to coaching developed from raising a son who has ADHD. I saw that he needed compassionate and insightful guidance because he saw the world differently.  I saw that the world often has a mistaken view of people who have ADHD.  By practicing skills to overcome their obstacles, I believe that anyone can be successful.

After receiving a B.A. in Psychology and Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University, I found that science was my passion, but I loved working with children.  I began working as a Middle School science teacher where I received an award for teaching children who learn differently.  After a few years as a stay-at-home dad, I returned to work as an ADHD Coach after completing my training and certification from Catalytic Coaching in 2008.  I was the first ADHD Coach in Kentucky.  I am a member of the ADHD Coaches Organization and CHADD and have attended several of their conferences.
